Sinclair Rewards Overview & Rules

Sinclair Rewards allows our valued customers to earn rewards on any incremental advertising spends you place with Sinclair. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more.

It's easy. With every incremental dollar you spend with Sinclair you can earn reward dollars that are redeemable for rewards and exclusive offers.

To earn reward dollars, please create a Sinclair Rewards account. You can earn reward dollars on your incremental spend with Sinclair.

Joining Sinclair Rewards is free.

As soon as your Sinclair invoice is paid, your reward dollars will be allocated to your account within 72 hours. Overdue invoices will not be eligible for reward dollars so please ensure you pay your invoices within 90 days of invoice date.

All Sinclair Solutions and Services are available to earn reward dollars on the incremental advertising spends you place with Sinclair. Just remember to pay your invoices within 90 days of invoice date to qualify.

Reward dollars expire 12 months from the month accumulated.  You will receive a notification via email a month before your reward dollars expire. A monthly expiry summary is available on your transaction page.

When you register for Sinclair Rewards, you are placed in a Tier based on your previous 4 quarter spend. Tiers are recalculated monthly and upgrades are effective on the date payment is received. Tier movement downward occurs at the end of the 12th month of not maintaining the new tier level.

You must spend enough money for that tier category within 1 year to remain there, or else you will move to the tier you are eligible for. Please read our Program Terms & Conditions for more information

Navigating the Sinclair Rewards Portal

If you represent multiple companies with different business numbers who advertise direct with Sinclair, each of these companies will have a unique transaction page with invoice history, earning tier and reward dollar balance.

As long as your Sinclair Customer Number or Billing ID has not changed, please click on your profile in the top right corner of any portal page to update your company name, mailing and or shipping address. For security reasons and fraud prevention, please reach out to rewards@sbgtv.com to change your email address.

Your Sinclair Customer Number is the company identification number used for your invoice payments to Sinclair.

Tax Information

If you have redeemed non-transactional rewards (i.e. rewards from contests) with a value totaling $600 USD or more in any calendar year, you will receive a 1099 tax form. At the beginning of each calendar year, the 1099 will be sent via a digital link via email that will direct you to a secure website. Here, you can enter your personal information to download the 1099 tax form.

Reward Redemptions

In most cases, gift cards are emailed instantaneously but could take up to 24 hours maximum.

Yes. You can redeem your reward dollars through CharityChoice on our reward catalogue page and choose from over 1,000 charities and causes. You will receive an emailed tax acknowledgement for your records after your donation is processed.

When redeeming a Visa® Prepaid Card or Mastercard® Prepaid Card, you are provided with a redemption URL and a prepaid digital token. Follow these instructions to redeem your reward:

  1. Click on the redemption URL which will redirect you to a different website for Cardholder Services.
  2. This URL would've been provided to you by your program or it can be found in the reward email that you received.
  3. Select a virtual prepaid card.
  4. You will be asked to provide your name, address, email, and phone number to be associated with your Visa or Mastercard. Note that your address will also be used for verification purposes if you use it online and can be edited by clicking on the original redemption link you received via email or by logging into your Digital Wallet.
  5. You will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions to complete your request.
  6. Your card details will appear on the screen as a virtual card.

You will receive your product within 7 business days after the order is place.
